I can never seem to paint enough Summer Clouds. Every time I do one painting it seems that fluffier, lighter clouds appear round the corner that really do look ever more like cotton wool. And I love that contrast between the bright blue sky and those summer clouds. I wanted to capture the heat of the summer in my painting and the air filled with insects without a care in the world.
